Suta bolsters presence in Mumbai, launches 18th India store in Borivali

Womenswear brand Suta has brought its pan-India store total to 18 and bolstered its brick-and-mortar presence in Mumbai with the launch of its new boutique in Borivali’s Satra Park.

 
“Every time we open a new store, it feels like placing another piece of our heart in a city we love,” said Suta’s co-founder Sujata Biswas in a press release. “Borivali has a warmth that mirrors our brand. We want this store to be a place where people don’t just shop, they pause, feel, and reconnect with themselves.”
 
The vibrant space houses an array of Suta’s ready-to-wear pieces, designed to translate tradition into the everyday wardrobe of modern Indians. The store highlights the brand’s love of textiles and invites shoppers to explore its colourful universe through its handcrafted sarees, blouses, and apparel.

 
“The journey from one small garage to 18 stores has been overwhelming in the most beautiful way,” said the brand’s co-founder Taniya Biswas. “Our Borivali store is a celebration of the community that has stood by us. We hope this space becomes a little sanctuary for everyone who believes in the magic of thoughtful, handmade fashion.”

The opening brings Suta’s Mumbai store count to four, with its other outlets in the metro located in Thane, Kalina (Santacruz East), and Bandra West. The label continues to expand across India with stores in Kolkata, Bengaluru, Pune, Kochi, Hyderabad, Chennai, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Bhubaneswar, Lucknow. and Trivandrum.
