Parisian fashion house Soeur has chosen the popular niche fashion destination Marylebone High Street for its latest London flagship store, joining Redchurch Street, Shoreditch, and King’s Road in the capital.

The newly-opened store brings the brand’s “quietly confident aesthetic” via a 2,152 sq ft space spread across two floors, that also captures the “signature sense of refined simplicity” created by its founders, sisters Domitille and Angélique Brion.

Conceived by French architect Gilles Viard, the interior pairs oak shelving and bespoke steel rails with polished concrete and exposed brick, “creating a dialogue between softness and structure”. Vintage pieces add warmth and
character, we’re told.

The new boutique offers its most comprehensive selection outside France, spanning ready-to-wear, opening with its Autumn/Winter collection, leather goods, footwear, jewellery, and eyewear. Other features include alteration and repair services “encouraging longevity in every piece”.

The new store becomes part of a 54-standalone boutique portfolio besides a growing network of international stockists including Harvey Nichols, Selfridges and Brown Thomas as a sign of “strong expansion within the UK [and Ireland] markets”.

A year ago, Soeur also entered the menswear market for the first time with a label called Frère which then heralded a new chapter for the brand despite saying it has “always borrowed elements from menswear to craft its womenswear pieces”.
