Disney and Swarovski are celebrating 20 years of collaboration by taking over The Corner Shop at Selfridges, London, until 3 January. The five-week residency sees “beloved characters from Disney Classics enhanced with Swarovski’s signature shine”.

They’re transforming the space’s windows into “scenes filled with nostalgia and wonder”.
The Oxford Street window is about Bambi, featuring a crystallised model of Disney’s cartoon deer. And the Duke Street windows recreate imagery from Disney Cinderella, 101 Dalmatians, and Beauty and the Beast, including a crystal slipper and the Beast’s rose in an embellished glass bell jar.
Inside, visitors to the Corner Shop enter an “immersive retail experience that highlights Swarovski and Disney’s shared passion for creativity and craftsmanship”.
Two installations from Swarovski Kristallwelten in Wattens, Austria, have been transported to London for the event: one inspired by Disney Alice in Wonderland and the other taking cues from Dumbo.
As for products, there’s a selection of Swarovski pieces including the Disney Beauty and the Beast collection, available only at Selfridges. Figurines will be available to purchase alongside Disney Princess-inspired designs, Swarovski Created Diamonds fine jewellery, plus its Swiss-Made watches, and a range of accessories.

It’s all part of the wider Disneyfication of Selfridges that began in early November. ‘A Most Magical Christmas’ is the umbrella title of the collaboration with the American entertainment giant and has seen a number of brand and product initiatives throughout the store.
For instance, shoppers in person or online are able to buy Disney collab products by Coach, Harry Lambert for Chopova Lowena, Golden Goose, Ganni and more.
