LuxExperience: Francis Belin set to become Mytheresa’s new CEO

Michael Kliger steps down as CEO of Mytheresa and Francis Belin will assume the role of CEO of the luxury platform on January 1, 2026. His primary mandate will be to drive Mytheresa‘s global expansion, and he will report directly to Michael Kliger, who, as CEO of the LuxExperience Group, will continue to oversee the overall strategy for all brands (Mytheresa, YNAP, Mr Porter).

Francis Belin brings extensive luxury-sector experience and proven leadership. Belin joins from the auction house Christie’s, where, as President, Asia Pacific, he was most recently responsible for International and Asian Art.

He also played a pivotal role in several major strategic initiatives, including acquisitions such as Gooding & Company, a leading California-based automotive auction house. Previously, he held various positions at Swarovski and Richemont, having begun his career as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company.

Francis Belin graduated from ESSEC Business School in France and holds a degree in International Management and Psychology from the University of Mannheim.
