eBay Live Superstore at to make the most of Black Friday at Outernet London

This week sees key UK entertainment and cultural destination Outernet London being transformed into the first-ever eBay Live Superstore. It will happen on Balck Friday and aims to “brings the platform’s interactive shopping experience to life in a real-world setting”.

Hosted by presenter and broadcaster AJ Odudu, the event “will channel AJ’s authenticity and joy into a new kind of live shopping experience,” we’re told. And she’ll be joined by a line-up of  co-hosts, including Peter Crouch and Tasha Ghouri.

So what will happen? The event “will blend Black Friday shopping buzz with virtual livestreams to bring shoppers great deals on luxury pre-loved fashion, sneakers, and collectibles from 99p, plus exclusive prices on refurbished tech”.

Running every hour from 1pm through 7pm, the livestreams will “offer surprise drops and giveaways for shoppers both in the room and across the UK”. 

There are scheduled sales with, for instance, a link-up with The Fan Cave at 4pm on Friday for fan memorabilia followed at 5pm by a sale of designer label goods with LuxCentral.

It’s clearly eBay trying to cut through the noise and do something out of the ordinary online on this key shopping day, as well as making the most of the heavy shopper traffic expected in central London on Friday.
