The non-profit organisation Fashion Trust Arabia had previously unveiled 18 emerging designers from the MENA region who have been selected, alongside three from India, as finalists for its 2025 awards. The ceremony will take place in Doha on November 22, 2025.
Elsewhere in the jury, there is fine artist Alex Israel; investors Rachid Rachid and Remo Ruffini; choirmaster and composer Charles Rosier, and former model and activist Bethann Hardison. Completing the ranks are noted fashion buyers Roopal Patel, with Gilda Ambrosio and Giorgia Tordini from The Attico, and fashion editor Imran Amed.
The Fashion Trust Arabia winners will receive grants of between $100,000 and $200,000, while the Franca Sozzani prize will provide $50,000. They will also benefit from a one-year mentoring program with The Bicester Collection, and their designs will be stocked at Harrods and Ounass for one season.
The winner of the ready-to-wear category will also receive a placement in London with Huntsman, where they will be able to create a capsule collection for sale.
