Valstar, the iconic Milanese luxury outerwear house founded in 1911, has just opened its first Paris boutique at 8 rue de Babylone, in the heart of the Left Bank. Following Milan, the French capital becomes the brand’s second global address; the house also counts 180 stockists worldwide.

Today, Valstar is headed by Luigi Fila, the brand’s head of design and a member of the Fratelli Fila family, who joined the brand in 2015. Under his leadership, Valstar is accelerating its international expansion and consolidating its position in Italian luxury.

This opening is particularly significant: it coincides with the launch of Valstar’s first womenswear collection. Presented alongside the menswear line, this new range embraces the house codes—craftsmanship, understated elegance, and Milanese pragmatism—and reinterprets them through a contemporary feminine sensibility.

Designed by the architecture studio StorageMilano, the new space epitomises the dialogue between heritage and modernity that defines Valstar. Nestled within a 19th-century residential building, the boutique captivates from the street with its bold, dark façade, before revealing an interior crafted from rich materials: honey-finished okoumé wood, bronze glass, and amaranth-hued metal. Across 65 square metres, two areas unfold: a light-filled entrance in clay tones with chevron parquet flooring, followed by a more intimate golden lounge adorned with velvet and sculptural furniture.

With this Paris address, Valstar gains fresh visibility among a cosmopolitan clientele and marks a milestone in its international expansion.
