The new store spans more than 465 square metres and occupies the former premises of the official Valencia CF store. True to the brand’s aesthetic, the interior retains several structural elements and industrial finishes, most notably the building’s original windows, in a space that once housed a bank. Inside, the store offers an experiential journey through a curated selection of in-house labels such as Urban Outfitters Masterbrand, iets Frans…, BDG, and Kimchi Blue, alongside vintage pieces and homeware.

This opening forms part of the company’s growth plan in Europe, where it now operates a total of 75 stores and has recently added new locations in cities such as Milan, Bremen, and Manchester. “We continue to expand across Europe, with Spain as one of our strategic markets,” said Emma Wisden, president of Urban Outfitters Europe, emphasising that the company’s main objective is “to inspire our customers to express themselves and embark on their own journey of discovery”.

In Spain, the brand now operates four standalone stores: its store at 43 Gran Vía in Madrid and its two Barcelona locations in Plaza de Cataluña and the Westfield La Maquinista shopping centre, plus the new Valencia flagship.

Founded in 1970 in Philadelphia, Urban Outfitters is part of the URBN group’s portfolio of brands, alongside Anthropologie, Free People, and BHLDN. Today, the retailer, known for its fashion, lifestyle, and vintage offering, operates more than 268 stores across the US, Canada, and Europe.
