Occasionwear and bridal brand Six Stories has linked up with THG Ingenuity’s THG Fulfil operation to open a US distribution centre as it targets faster international growth.

The e-tailer and retailer is operating the New Jersey site in partnership with THG Fulfil and said it will facilitate faster delivery to American customers as well as a smoother experience, lower shipping rates and no unexpected customs fees for its growing customer base there.
The six-year-old company that was founded by Lucy and Ross Menghini has clearly been resonating with US consumers and the country now makes up 25% of its total sales with almost 40% year-on-year growth in that market.
Lucy Menghini said: “This is a huge step forward for our US customers. With faster delivery and simpler ordering, we’re removing friction at every stage.”
It follows the company inking online partnership deals with US retailers Nordstrom and Macy’s in September.
Merchandising director Samantha Lister oversaw the US move and said the country “has always been a key growth market for us. Establishing a dedicated distribution hub with THG gives us the infrastructure to serve American customers with the same speed, quality, and care that built our reputation in the UK”.
Earlier this year the company said it’s entering a “pivotal new chapter” and named a new head of brand, Beckie Turnbull, “to help us elevate our strategy, storytelling, and global presence”.
